Shane Marteene

Smallish but hard young centre making his name as a keen defender.  Signed by the Bulldogs after showing outstanding form in the schoolboys Confraternity Shield competition in Queensland he made his first grade debut in 1996 aged 19.  Has had regular call ups to the top grade.
