Hazem El Masri

An exciting and extremely popular young player Hazem switched from soccer to rugby league very late in his schoolboy career.  His ball-handling skills, speed and anticipation made him one of the most prolific tryscorers in Super League last season.  Hazem has broken new ground for rugby league by becoming the first practising Muslim to make the elite level.
